The leading youth was named Zhang Bing, and he suffered from epilepsy. Originally, the punch I threw at him wasn’t severe at all. It was only due to his fear and panic that he ended up taking a hit and collapsed convulsing on the ground.

At this moment, he was helped up and glared at me as if nothing had happened. Then, he ordered the three youths beside him, “Attack together! Take this kid down.”

“Got it…”

Although I had just dodged Zhang Bing’s short knife and knocked him down, I wasn’t afraid of three youths attacking me at once. Hearing the order, they immediately charged forward and quickly surrounded me.

“Go! Take him out.”

Zhang Bing, holding a short knife, was the first to rush at me again. Seeing this, the other three drew their knives from their waists and charged toward me as well.

The onlookers’ expressions changed dramatically once more. If I could dodge Zhang Bing’s knife alone earlier, facing four people with knives at once—even if I had multiple arms—I wouldn’t be able to evade them all. I was surely doomed.

Li Da’s usually gloomy face turned smug again. Clearly, he and the others believed that with four people wielding knives against me, I was as good as dead.

“Yan Feng!”

Su Wan’s face turned pale as paper. Seeing four people rushing at me with knives, her whole body trembled uncontrollably. She summoned all her strength to shout.

Facing four men armed with short knives, I became serious. Although I had trained in martial arts with my grandfather since childhood, dealing with four knife-wielding opponents at once was no trivial matter.

My eyes coldly fixed on Zhang Bing, who was leading the charge. Immediately, I spotted a flaw.

This time, I did not hold back. I grabbed the hand Zhang Bing was using to stab at my chest with the knife and struck his ribs with a punch.

“Crack!”

Two ribs broke instantly. Zhang Bing lost all combat capability and fell to the ground wailing in pain.

I didn’t stop. After taking Zhang Bing down, I turned to the nearest youth.

Before he could act, I delivered a flying kick that sent him flying.

Then I crouched down and swept another youth off his feet with my leg, followed by a punch that knocked him unconscious.

Now only one youth remained. Seeing me take down three opponents in an instant, he turned pale with fear.

His whole body trembled as he stood frozen in place, eyes filled with terror.

He never expected me to be so formidable—facing four people armed with knives, I neither backed down nor hesitated.

Only he was left standing. His face grew even paler as he lowered his knife and began to tremble, retreating step by step.

The crowd around us was utterly stunned, speechless at the sight of the three youths writhing on the ground in agony and me standing firm.

Li Da’s eyes darkened; he was also deeply shocked.

He never thought, not even in his wildest dreams, that I could be so skilled, able to overpower four knife-wielding men.

“Damn it! This is unbelievable. How can that brat be so strong?”

Li Da’s expression was as dark as night, cursing silently in his heart.

The reason the Little Tiger Gang sent those four to collect a debt today was all orchestrated by him behind the scenes.

He had planned to deal with me and then find a way to take Su Wan for himself.

But unexpectedly, I was so strong that his scheme completely failed.

“What are you all doing here?”

At that moment, Li Zhiming, the production team leader of the Tenth Squad, emerged from the crowd. He looked at the three youths writhing on the ground with a stern expression and asked in a deep voice.

Upon hearing this, someone immediately explained the situation.

Li Zhiming’s expression grew very serious. He looked at the youths on the ground and the one still standing, then sharply demanded, “Which team are you from? Why are you causing trouble in the Tenth Squad?”

“We are…”

The youth turned to Li Zhiming, his voice trembling as he answered.

“Get lost! If you dare cause trouble in the Tenth Squad again, I’ll have the forest patrol team arrest you.”

Li Zhiming’s gaze was sharp as he glared at the youth, his tone cold and severe.

In truth, he recognized these men as members of the Little Tiger Gang and knew very well about Li Da’s close relationship with them.

He was fully aware of what had just happened.

His arrival at that moment, ostensibly to rebuke them, was actually a covert move to protect them, preventing me from continuing to take action.

Hearing this, the youth immediately nodded and didn’t dare linger. Hastily, they helped the three injured men up and sped away on their motorcycles.

Li Zhiming was the company’s production team leader. When I first arrived, I had been somewhat intimidated by him.

Now that he had spoken, even if I wanted to warn those Little Tiger Gang youths a few more times, I had to give up.

After watching them leave, I glanced at Li Da’s darkened face amidst the crowd, further convinced that this matter was undoubtedly connected to him.

“Zhao Yanfeng! If you dare to provoke those shady people to cause trouble in the company again, I will punish you.”

As I turned to leave, Li Zhiming’s sharp eyes caught mine, and he scolded me sternly.

His words made me pause. I looked at Li Zhiming, intending to explain, but after a moment’s thought, I said nothing.

Li Zhiming gave off a somewhat delicate and sinister vibe. My grandfather had once said that a person’s eyes reveal their soul.

From Li Zhiming’s eyes, I saw a ruthless streak. I immediately understood he was a petty man, best not provoked.

I nodded in agreement and continued walking toward the kitchen.

“Sister-in-law!”

Su Wan was still sitting on the ground, exhausted. Seeing that I was unharmed, her face regained some color.

I went over, helped her up, and sat her in a chair, soothing her gently, “Sister-in-law, it’s okay now. Don’t be afraid.”

“Yan Feng…”

Suddenly, Su Wan collapsed on my shoulder, crying uncontrollably, her body trembling.

“Sister-in-law, it’s okay now, don’t be afraid…”

Having never had a woman lean on my shoulder like this before, I was instantly flustered.

Instinctively, I patted her back softly, offering comfort.

“Su Wan!”

At that moment, a woman in her early thirties walked in, gently patting Su Wan’s shoulder and comforting her in a soft voice, “It’s alright, Su Wan. Stop crying. Everything will be fine.”

I recognized the woman. Her home was right next door to Su Wan’s. She had helped me tidy my room just yesterday.

“Sister Liu!”

The woman’s name was Liu Ting. Her husband was a sailor, often away at sea for long stretches, rarely returning home more than a few times a year.

Though not as strikingly beautiful as Su Wan, she had her own unique charm and was considered a rare beauty.

I nodded slightly in greeting and then left Su Wan in her care.

After all, with someone there, I felt awkward having Su Wan continue to lean on my shoulder.

“Yan Feng! You’re amazing. You just beat those guys to a pulp.”

Liu Ting looked at me and gave a thumbs-up in praise.

“Sister Liu, after Yan Feng fought those men, I’m worried they might look for a chance to retaliate against him…”

Su Wan stopped crying, concern etched on her face as she spoke to Liu Ting.
