The fight began as quickly as it ended. Although Yangzi’s group had three men, Chen Xuewen struck first, kicking Yangzi in the groin and instantly incapacitating him.

Of the remaining two, one had his eye injured by Chen Xuewen before being beaten bloody by Li Eryong with a crutch. As for the final youth, he tried to struggle when Chen Xuewen pinned him to the ground. However, Chen Xuewen had recently been studying the "Eight Extraordinary Meridians," and his progress was significant. Though the youth managed to land two punches, they only caused Chen Xuewen minor pain. In contrast, every strike Chen Xuewen delivered landed on a vital point. Even with just his fists, he was able to render the youth unable to fight back.

In less than five minutes, all three men were subdued, crouching obediently against the wall with their hands over their heads. Having previously had his limbs broken by these same men, Li Eryong was filled with long-standing resentment and felt a surge of triumph. He used his crutch to strike the three until their heads were covered in welts before finally stopping, satisfied. The trio, too cowed to speak, could only glare at Li Eryong with venomous hatred.

"Kid, we three lost today, and we accept it!" Yangzi gritted his teeth and said. "If you have the guts, give us your name. I’ll have my boss come settle the score with you later!"

Li Eryong, furious, struck him again with his crutch. "You still want to retaliate, you bastard?"

Yangzi, pushed to his limit, roared, "Screw you, Li Eryong! If you have the nerve, kill me right now! If you don't kill me, I swear I won't let you off!"

Li Eryong grew anxious; if these men sought revenge, they would surely be outmatched. Chen Xuewen, however, remained calm. He walked over, looked down at Yangzi, and said coldly, "So, you want revenge?"

"Fine, I’ll give you the chance! Go back and tell your boss that my name is Chen Xuewen. I live at No. 13, Fifth Lane, Xingfu Village. If you want to retaliate, come and find me."

Yangzi ground his teeth. "Good, you've got guts. I’ll remember you!"

Chen Xuewen gave a dismissive laugh. "I’m heading home to wait for him right now. If he doesn't come for me tonight, I’ll go find him myself tomorrow!"

With that, Chen Xuewen turned, pulled Li Eryong along, and walked away. Yangzi watched them go, his expression turning vicious as he stood up. "Damn it, let's go find the boss! Tonight, we’re going to kill those two little punks!"

...

On the way home, Li Eryong tugged at Chen Xuewen anxiously. "Wen, have you lost your mind? Do you realize who Yangzi’s boss is? It’s Old Hei."

Chen Xuewen glanced at him. "This Old Hei—he’s the boss you used to work for, right?"

Li Eryong spat on the ground. "Damn right, that dog. That bastard—I actually treated him like a brother, but at a single word from Zhou Hao, he had my limbs broken. I must have been blind to follow a leader like that."

Chen Xuewen nodded calmly. "In that case, tonight, I’ll break both his arms and legs to help you get your revenge."

Li Eryong’s eyes widened. "Wen, are you... are you crazy? Do you know who Old Hei is? He’s even more powerful than He Fei! One phone call from him can bring dozens of men. How on earth are you going to fight him?"

Chen Xuewen smiled faintly. "The bodyguards around Zhou Hao were trained at a martial arts academy, and I took them all down, didn't I? Is Old Hei really supposed to be tougher than Zhou Hao?"

Li Eryong urged, "Damn it, is that the same thing? You were fighting for your life against Zhou Hao, but you can’t just go around killing people! You finally cleared your name; you absolutely cannot get into another homicide case!"

Chen Xuewen patted Li Eryong on the shoulder with a light smile. "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing."
