He was once again the spirited, commanding president of the Fu Corporation, the man who controlled everything.
Lin Qi had been waiting nearby. The moment he saw Fu Beichen come downstairs, he immediately bowed respectfully...
The old master’s threat still echoed in her ears.
“This is your problem. It has nothing to do with me,” Gu Xingnian said calmly before walking out the door.
Her attitude was perfectly clear: she would handle only the divorce. As for the conflicts between him and his family, she would no longer involve herself.
Fu Beichen watched her retreating figure and, for the first time, felt that this woman possessed a certain hardness.

It was not an outward hardness, but something deep within her—a resolute determination that would not be shaken.
He had never been able to see through her.
He lasted less than a few dozen seconds before turning the tables and pinning her against the sofa, kissing her deeply with domineering intensity.

During his second mission to Tianzhu, Wang Xuance destroyed Arunasun, who had proclaimed himself king after the death of King Harsha.
Later, he became my grandfather’s apprentice, learning medicine from him. He then married my mother, and that was how our present life came to be.
1. It has already been twelve years since I flew out of the Eastern Sea Bay. I have despaired so many times that I may no longer remember them all.
Goryeo was a hidden danger to the entire Great Tang. If the Great Tang could maintain its prosperity and strength, all would be well. But if it could not, Goryeo would inevitably seize the opportunity to make its move.
He did not need to say it outright; I knew it had something to do with Xiao Ran. As it happened, I also had news to tell him, so our intentions coincided perfectly.

Qin Feng was speechless. He gave Si Zhanbei a deep look, then turned his gaze toward the command center, praying silently that Sheng Fenghua would be safe.

The car drove into the villa where I lived. I carried Xu Jingru down from the vehicle and all the way into the bridal chamber, then came back out at midnight to perform the wedding rites.
“Junior Brother Mo Yi pays his respects to Senior Sister,” Mo Yi said joyfully, hastily dropping to one knee.
“No. This servant had already sensed that something was wrong, so I never fell into a deep sleep,” Xin Shuangqing said, shaking her head as she sat down beside Mo Yi.

After the meal, Sister-in-law Yue went to Sheng Fenghua’s home to help look after the child. Sheng Fenghua, meanwhile, went to the hospital to deal with the dispute involving the medical staff.

[Deadly Iron Crotch]: I, Deadly Iron Crotch, always honor my bets and never welch. Anyone who doubts my integrity as a gambler will have me to answer to!!! I lost this time, but it was merely an accidental defeat. I believe the curse that I “lose every bet” has finally been broken. My fortunes are about to turn. If you do not believe me, just wait and see.
When Jin Yifeng saw that Wang Jinyue was ignoring her, irritation surged within him. He abruptly reached out and pulled her tightly into his arms, then immediately turned his phone around and showed her the record.
