Siyan unclasped the golden chain from Su Yu’s body and carried her into the bathroom.
In truth, he knew Su Yu disliked lying in that mirrored room, but whenever his precious one tried to escape and was caught, she never learned her lesson. He had no choice but to teach her a little discipline.
At this moment, Su Yu was still conscious, quietly nestled in the man’s arms, her eyes dim and void of light.
He placed her gently into the bathtub, her body marked with red bruises—bites and kisses from Siyan.
The man’s eyes were filled with satisfaction as his large hands tenderly wiped over Su Yu’s skin.
His scent was about to be washed away.
The moment his fingertips brushed against her, Su Yu’s body softened—
as if frightened, already showing signs of a conditioned response.
The man seemed pleased by her reaction. “Baby, it looks like you’re starting to get used to me.”
“The body’s instinctive reactions can’t lie.”
Siyan leaned close to her ear, their temples brushing.
He watched Su Yu’s flushed cheeks—whether from the steam or his words, he could not tell.
Soaking in the bathtub, Su Yu had regained a bit of strength.
She glared at the insatiable wolf before her, who had a habit of speaking lewdly.
“What do you want before you’ll let Han Yan go…”
Su Yu’s voice was thick with exhaustion, yet clung to a last glimmer of hope.
Hearing her mention that man again, Siyan’s eyelids lifted slightly, his eyes darkening, but a cryptic smile played at the corner of his lips. “Marry me.”
“Impossible!”
Without hesitation, Su Yu rejected him sharply, her eyes brimming with resistance.
Marry him?
That meant being trapped forever in this cage, never to return to freedom.
Living with such a paranoid, ruthless man, always on edge—compared to choosing a peaceful life with Li Hanyan, the answer was obvious.
The smile on Siyan’s face vanished instantly, his tone hard as iron: “There’s no room for negotiation.”
“My bride will obey.”
He bent down, his fingertip tracing her cheek with a threatening certainty. “If you want Li Hanyan to remain unharmed, then patiently wait for our wedding.”

“Otherwise, his legs will be your first wedding gift.”
“Smack!” A crisp slap echoed through the air.
Su Yu’s eyes reddened as she fiercely struck Siyan’s face, her voice trembling with anger. “Madman! I will never marry you, absolutely never!”
Her hand trembled, her palm burning with pain, but seeing Siyan’s face darken only fueled the fire of hatred in her heart—
This man was utterly unworthy of the word “wedding.”
Siyan’s head was turned aside by the slap, but instead of anger, he laughed.
He grabbed Su Yu’s head and forced a kiss upon her in the bathtub. Su Yu struggled, pushing against his chest.
His wound had already reopened, but he paid it no mind.
Compared to tending to the woman in his arms, the pain was nothing.
Su Yu felt the sticky blood on her hand.
His wound had burst open!
“Stop…”
Su Yu suddenly turned her head away, avoiding his kiss. Her gaze fell on the blood staining the back of her hand, her voice tinged with barely concealed panic.
“Your injury…”
Following her gaze, Siyan glanced at the bleeding wound on his chest but didn’t even frown. His tone was casual: “It’s nothing. Let’s continue.”
Saying this, his large hand gripped the back of Su Yu’s neck, forcefully turning her head. Another blood-scented kiss was about to come when—
Su Yu clamped her hand tightly over her mouth, fear flashing in her eyes. Seeing him so reckless despite his injury, she quietly whispered, “If you keep this up… you’ll die…”
“Baby, you’re worried about me?”
A flicker of delight passed through Siyan’s eyes. His baby cared for him!
Su Yu’s expression darkened. “I just don’t want you to cling to me!”
But it seemed he already had, like a stubborn adhesive that couldn’t be shaken off!
Siyan lifted Su Yu from the bathtub, wrapping a towel around her.
In the bedroom, Su Yu curled under the covers, ready to sleep.
But Siyan brought the first aid kit over. “Bandage me.”
Didn’t he have hands?
Su Yu refused to move.

“Bandage me, and I’ll treat Li Hanyan’s wounds.”
His words struck like thunder, jolting Su Yu from her curled-up state. Her eyes suddenly brightened.
She almost immediately threw off the covers, obediently squatting before Siyan, taking out gauze and medicine from the kit. Though her movements were stiff, there was an unprecedented compliance in them.
“You… you can’t lie to me.”
While carefully wrapping the bandages, she looked up at him nervously, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Siyan’s hand gripped her waist with a little pressure, raising an eyebrow. “When have I ever lied to you?”
There were plenty of times.
He always said it would be the last time, but every time was the last time!
Once the wound was bandaged, Siyan bent down and scooped Su Yu up horizontally, carrying her to the soft, large bed.
“What are you doing?”
“Siyan, I can’t…”
Caught off guard, Su Yu panicked, instinctively pushing against his chest. Her voice trembled with resistance and fear.
But Siyan didn’t make any improper advances.
She dipped her fingers into the cool ointment and applied it to herself.
The icy sensation gradually eased her discomfort.
Her tense body relaxed little by little, and the panic on her face softened.
“What am I doing?”
Siyan looked up at her, a teasing glint in his eyes. “Just putting some medicine on you, and you already think I want you?”
He withdrew his hand, deliberately putting the ointment lid back on with a serious tone. “You’re hurt, and as your husband, it’s my duty to take good care of you.”
Nonsense.
Su Yu didn’t want to hear it. Siyan pulled her close, pressing her against his chest.
“I—I don’t want to sleep like this.”
Her face plainly showed refusal. He had injuries and might press down on her.
“I want to sleep this way. Only this way can I sleep!”
Siyan paid no mind, wrapping his large hand around her head and pressing it against his chest.
Su Yu could only carefully avoid his wounds as she fell asleep.
