Elsewhere,
In the dressing room, Si Yan leaned forward, his tall body pressing close as he firmly enclosed Su Yu in his arms. He had forced her to sit on the vanity, leaving her nowhere to escape.
Before she could react, the man’s scorching kiss descended upon her. It was forceful and impossible to resist, lingering and winding around her lips for a long while.
Only when she had been kissed until her entire body went limp, nearly collapsing against him, did Si Yan draw back slightly. Through the thin gauze of her dress, his broad palm gently stroked her smooth, pale back.
The heat of his hand seeped through the fabric. Su Yu could feel it clearly, and a shiver ran through her entire body.
“Baby, are you trying to delay the time when you go to bed with your husband?”
Si Yan bent toward her ear. His voice was low, carrying a teasing hoarseness.
He lifted his eyes to the mirror in front of them and saw Su Yu nestled in his arms, her body still trembling faintly beyond her control, the rims of her ears so red they looked ready to bleed.
“We’ve kissed so many times already. How can you still not take it?” He brushed the pad of his finger over the corner of her flushed lips, his tone filled with amusement, then deliberately pressed further.
“Hmm?”
Su Yu panted in his arms. In television dramas, the male and female leads always parted after a single kiss.
Unlike him, who insisted on kissing her until she was weak all over before he would stop.
She turned her head and looked at her swollen, reddened lips in the mirror, glaring at him resentfully.
“It’s all your fault. How am I supposed to go out and face everyone later?”
Her lips were swollen enough that anyone who saw her would know exactly what had happened.
Si Yan raised his hand and lightly brushed his thumb over her kiss-reddened lips, his fingertip stroking them with an almost imperceptible touch. Yet his voice carried a languid, seductive note.
“Baby, the customs here are rather bold.”
He paused, his gaze settling on her flustered eyes. Lowering his voice even further, he added with a wicked smile, “Even if I took you right here and now, no one would say a word…”
“You pervert!”
Su Yu hurriedly raised a hand to cover his mouth, her cheeks hot enough to fry an egg. “Is your polluted mind filled with nothing but this sort of thing?”
The man did not argue. His dark eyes remained fixed on her. Then he lowered his head slightly and placed a soft kiss on her warm palm.
The yielding sensation tickled like a feather brushing gently across her skin.
At the same time, the heat of his lips made her palm prickle and itch. She instinctively tried to pull her hand away, but he caught her by the wrist.
“Baby, I think I’ve discovered another sensitive spot of yours!”
Her reaction just now had been exactly the same as when she was enjoying herself in bed.
His darling had been born in a northern country where customs were comparatively conservative and traditional. Even marriages were arranged by the elders.

Naturally, she could not bear his bold declarations. Whenever he brought this up while they were aroused, his little darling would blush and refuse to listen.
But he loved saying such filthy things.
Si Yan lifted her down from the vanity, one arm supporting the backs of her knees. His eyes held the knowing amusement of someone who had seen straight through her little scheme.
“Let’s go back. Let’s go meet the new guests at our castle.”
A few rotten eggs—did they really think Si Yan was someone who would simply tolerate them?
“I… I need to change.”
Su Yu lowered her eyes, deliberately pretending not to understand the deeper meaning behind his words. She only wanted to use changing clothes as an excuse to delay things a little longer.
But Si Yan gave her no such opportunity. Holding her securely with one arm, he hooked the clothes nearby with the other, his fingers sliding naturally to the zipper at the back of her wedding dress.
With a sharp sound, the zipper descended. The heavy wedding gown fell to the floor, revealing the thin undergarments beneath.
Su Yu hurriedly covered her chest, her cheeks instantly blazing.
The man behind her, however, did not seem to care in the slightest. He unfolded his coat and slipped it over her from behind, his voice tinged with teasing.
“What are you covering up for? Is there any part of you I haven’t seen?”
The moment he finished speaking, he wrapped his arms tightly around her from behind. With his other hand, he gripped her chin and forced her to turn her head, then lowered his lips and kissed her fiercely.
Su Yu’s entire body went weak beneath the kiss. Her steps were unsteady, and she could hardly remain standing, but Si Yan promptly supported her waist with his arm.
“Good girl.”
He released her lips and rubbed the tip of his nose against her flushed cheek. His voice held a soothing tenderness.
“We’ll kiss more when we get back.”
Once they returned, it would be more than kissing. If his little darling became agitated upon seeing those people and tried to protect them, then he would have to deal with her harshly.
If she did not become agitated—which was impossible—then he would have to be gentle.
Inside the car, Su Yu could hardly sit still.
No wonder she had not seen Huang Yu, that ever-present lackey, today. So this was what had happened.
Thinking about the possible situation Zhang Yue and the others were in, her heart tightened painfully. Her fingers unconsciously clenched the hem of her clothes.
She could not help glancing repeatedly toward Si Yan, who was leaning against the seat beside her.
A chilling pressure radiated from the man. His brows and eyes were cold, yet her mind was filled with questions.
How were Big Brother Zhang and the others?
Had they been caught, or had they already managed to rescue Brother Han Yan?
There was nothing she could do at present. All she could do was pray over and over in her heart that they were safe.

“If you have something to say, then say it.”
Si Yan suddenly spoke without looking at her. His tone carried a trace of impatience.
“Am I some kind of monster? Can’t you even speak when you see me?”
He was growing irritated. They were about to become husband and wife.
What could a married couple possibly be unable to say to each other?
“You didn’t do anything to Big Brother Zhang and the others, did you?”
Su Yu bit her lower lip, worry filling her eyes as she summoned her courage and looked at him.
Si Yan cast her a sidelong glance. Raising a finger, he gently tipped up her chin, his tone playful.
“Baby, I merely kept your old friends here so they could stay and attend our wedding.”
He paused, his thumb rubbing over her lips.
“You don’t like that?”
Of course she did not like it.
How could she possibly?
Su Yu screamed inwardly. Brother Han Yan was living proof of what this man was capable of.
This madman would resort to violence, yet Big Brother Zhang and the others had done nothing wrong. They had only wanted to take her away.
And simply for that, he intended to have them injured and imprisoned?
The words clogged her throat. Looking into Si Yan’s possessive eyes, she could not bring herself to say any of them. She could only let the fear in her chest spread little by little.
“Baby, you really are fickle!”
Si Yan’s fingers tightened slightly. The pressure with which he held her chin carried a faint, almost imperceptible jealousy, and his voice grew deeper.
“How can you care about everyone else?”
“One Li Han Yan is already enough. And now you keep calling him ‘Big Brother Zhang.’ You certainly sound close to him.”
As he spoke, his brows drew together. The jar of aged jealousy in his heart had been completely overturned by those words, leaving his chest painfully sour.
“Baby, why can’t you spare a little more concern for me?”
The man’s voice softened, edged with a hint of aggrieved pleading.
He stared into her eyes, already calculating that if his darling would only show him a little concern—
Even if she merely asked, “Were you tired when you had me?”
—he would be so delighted he could practically take flight, his tail wagging all the way to the heavens.
“You’re a lunatic. You ought to be locked away. You don’t deserve anyone’s concern!”
