Volume One, Chapter 48: Si Yan Calls Out to His Dog Father
Page 1/3
Su Yu pushed him away, ignoring his unreasonable tantrum, then turned over to lie down on the bed and sleep.
Anyway, she wasn’t going to help Si Yan solve this!
Si Yan, feeling ignored, tensed his jaw slightly. He lifted her up and held her against himself.
“Si Yan, you promised me we wouldn’t sleep together before we got married!”
Su Yu looked up at him from his chest.
Si Yan shamelessly played the rogue. “I said we wouldn’t sleep together in the three days before the wedding.”
“Well, it’s not the three days before the wedding yet, so I can hold you to sleep!”
“You scoundrel,” Su Yu scolded angrily.
She hadn’t forgotten about him planting a tracker in her phone.
“Yeah, I am!”
Si Yan caught her hand, kissed it softly, and whispered, “Go to sleep. If you keep moving, I’ll eat you up.”
Su Yu wanted to say more, but the scoundrel had already closed his eyes on his own.
Si Yan hadn’t slept all night searching for her yesterday, and Su Yu’s period had kept him up for days before that.
The little ungrateful thing wouldn’t even help him!
Sigh, never mind.
As long as he could hold her to sleep, Si Yan was already content!
“Hold me looser, you’re squeezing me too tight.”
The man’s large hand gripped her waist tightly, making her uncomfortable.
But Si Yan ignored her completely!
Su Yu was speechless...
The next morning, still half-asleep, she felt something wet and ticklish licking her foot.
“Si Yan, stop messing around...”
She thought it was that pervert Si Yan.
But then she heard a dog bark and opened her eyes to find Si Yan nowhere in sight.
Instead, there was a white dog nudging her foot. Su Yu picked it up. “Little thing, where did you come from?”
It looked somewhat familiar.
Just then, a maid hurried over, looking nervous as she faced the newly awakened Su Yu. “Madam, this dog was brought back by Assistant Huang. It was filthy when brought in; I gave it a bath, but it slipped away and came inside.”
“I’ll take it away right now!”
“No need, it’s nice. Could you ask Huang Yu if he’s not keeping it, I’ll take care of it!”
“Is it male or female?” Su Yu asked.
“Male!”
Hearing the maid’s answer, she nodded and picked up the little white dog. After freshening up, she went to the back garden for a walk with the dog.
“What should I name you?” Su Yu sniffed the dog’s fragrant fur. “How about Su Fei?”
The dog barked.
It agreed!
“Master, you should go give the Second Young Master a proper talking-to.” Huang Yu looked at Si Yan sitting in the rattan chair, collar slightly open.
“Hmm, I’ll personally go to the old mansion in a couple of days. Prepare for that.”

Si Yan’s gaze fell on Su Yu, who had appeared in the back garden. “Bring him a big gift!”
“Yes!”
Soon, Su Yu came running with the dog.
“Darling, come here!”
The man sitting in the rattan chair waved at her, but Su Yu ignored him completely.
She put the dog down, and it immediately ran off excitedly.
Feeling snubbed and ignored, Si Yan’s expression darkened. He coldly demanded, “Where did this dog come from?”
“Assistant Huang, did you bring this dog back?” Su Yu asked.
“Yes! Madam’s phone was tied to that black dog the day before yesterday…” Huang Yu explained, feeling the murderous look from Master.
That black dog had been washed white now!
“Are you going to keep it? If not, give it to me.”
“No, I planned to send it away.”
Huang Yu hadn’t intended to keep the dog either. He brought it back because it had peed on Master’s leather shoes, and he thought Master would kill it.
So he brought it back, but after washing it, it turned out to be white and quite cute. Madam actually wanted to keep it.
That would depend on Master’s approval!
“I don’t agree with you keeping that thing!”
Si Yan, ignored by Su Yu, stood up and grabbed her, bringing her back to the rattan chair.
Huang Yu took the hint and left quietly. Better to go play with dogs.
“Who gave you the right to disagree? I’m the one raising it, not you!”
Su Yu glared at him angrily. If he wouldn’t let her go out, fine; but not letting her keep a dog to ease her boredom was too much.
The wicked oppressive capitalist!
“Darling, you can’t even take care of yourself properly, so don’t raise a dog. That dog is full of bacteria and could get sick!”
Si Yan wouldn’t allow anything to steal his beloved’s attention. If his darling was looking at him, how could a dog take away her focus?
“Just take it for vaccinations. If you don’t let me keep it, then I’m leaving.”
Su Yu pushed him away and stood up. At that moment, Su Fei ran over.
She squatted down and hugged it. “Su Fei, let’s go. Mommy’s taking you somewhere else to live!”
“Come back!” Si Yan grabbed her hand. Seeing the little white dog in Su Yu’s arms, he relented: “You’re its mother, then I’ll be its father.”
“You’re not,” Su Yu said, turning away with the dog. “He’s your Uncle Si!”
“And that one who just ran over is your Uncle Huang!”
Huang Yu was speechless.
He was only twenty-six, a year younger than Master. How was he an uncle now?
“How can you not be? Si Yan and Su Yu are married. I’m the father of Si Su Fei!”
The man blocked her way, looking at the silly dog sticking out its tongue in Su Yu’s arms.
Forget it, if my darling wants to keep it, I’ll let her.
It’s just a dog after all. Si Yan could afford to keep it.

At least it was another thing to tie her down.
“It takes my surname, not yours!” Su Yu corrected. She didn’t want her little dog to have the Si surname.
Si Su Fei sounded awful!
“Well, when we have kids later, they’ll have my surname, right? This little dog is practice for the life we’ll have with our babies.”
Si Yan followed behind her, chattering on. Actually, he didn’t like kids, but if they were with his little darling, it might not be so bad.
He might be a good father!
“You imagine nice things. Who wants to have kids with you!”
“It’s Su Fei, and it can only have the Su surname!”
“Woof woof,” Su Fei responded twice, as if in agreement.
“Su Fei agrees to take Mommy’s surname, right? Say goodbye to Uncle Si.” Su Yu patted its head.
“Woof woof woof,” Su Fei barked twice more, smiling even happier.
Si Yan looked at the dog. If my darling doesn’t want kids with me, even this dog refuses to take my surname.
Is my surname really that bad?
Su Yu hugged the dog and went back, with Si Yan reluctantly following behind her.
The moment she put the dog down, Si Yan picked it up again. Su Yu was about to protest, but he stopped her with a word: “I’m taking my son for vaccinations.”
After all, it was a stray dog, likely carrying plenty of germs and parasites.
He didn’t want his little darling to get sick again. If he forbade her from keeping it, she’d throw a tantrum.
“Just remember to bring my son back,” Su Yu emphasized, “He’s my son.”
“Okay, okay, darling, I’ll definitely bring our son back!”
Si Yan smiled, holding Su Fei as he left.
Su Fei whimpered softly in his arms. “Wuwu…”
It didn’t want to be separated from Mommy!
Inside the car, the man holding the dog spoke with enthusiasm, “Your name is Si Su Fei, you have to take Daddy’s surname.”
Su Fei turned its head away.
“Say Daddy,” Si Yan turned its face toward him and said firmly.
Su Fei remained silent.
“Daddy.”
Su Fei finally responded with a bark.
Huang Yu, driving up front, almost laughed out loud. He didn’t understand why Master was so fixated on making a dog call him Daddy!
The dog couldn’t understand human words.
And the situation wasn’t that the dog was calling Master Daddy, but more like Master was calling the dog Daddy!
Being an uncle was just fine with him.
