Su Yu was always carried by Si Yan, unable to resist because his treasure was simply too cunning. She had mastered the art of playing pitifully to win others’ sympathy, making them involuntarily want to help her. Besides, the doctor had said she needed to get out more to avoid being cooped up and suffocated. He only had this one precious treasure, after all. Look how good he was, even letting his treasure out to socialize. Unfortunately, her heart belonged not to him, but to that childhood sweetheart, the pale-faced boy.

Inside the car, Su Yu sat on Si Yan’s lap, her eyes wide with curiosity at everything outside the road. This was her first time going out openly in months since being confined. No surveillance scanning her, no hounds chasing after her—everything was perfect except for the clingy pervert beside her. Her eyes, once red and swollen just yesterday, had now regained their bright and beautiful clarity.

“So, my treasure actually likes going out this much?” Si Yan’s voice dropped from above her head. The faint smile that had just begun to bloom on Su Yu’s face vanished instantly, replaced by a change in expression. She was not an object to be pocketed and carried wherever he went. Though she liked being taken out, following him everywhere left her no chance to escape. And she did not want that.

“Still thinking of running away?” A cold, displeased voice echoed. Su Yu was forced to lift her head and meet Si Yan’s dark, sinister, and terrifying eyes. “Still pining for your Han Yan, huh? If he dares to come rescue you, I’ll make sure he never returns. If he’s too scared to come, then stop thinking about him. What a useless bastard!”

Han Yan was no fool—he was a special forces soldier. If this lunatic hadn’t gone too far, she would have definitely called Han Yan to save her. Su Yu suppressed her fear and retorted, “Say what you want, but I don’t think so!” After all, Han Yan would never come.

Oh? Why no rebuttal today? Han Yan isn’t useless? Si Yan’s large hand grasped Su Yu’s small waist, a wicked smile spreading across his face. “Sweetheart, what if I sent that useless bastard the location of the old mansion from your phone? Do you think he’d risk his life to save you knowing you’re in my hands?”

Su Yu’s eyes suddenly widened in panic and helplessness. “Si Yan, you madman! If you dare hurt him, I won’t forgive you!” “Good,” he whispered darkly. The man paid no mind to her curses; instead, he pressed her against his chest and spoke more twistedly. “I’ll catch that useless fool, cripple him, turn him into a living corpse, not feed him to the sharks. When he’s dead, I’ll make a dried corpse out of him and...” Su Yu shuddered in terror, grabbing his hand and pleading, “Please don’t hurt him, I’ll behave...”

“Ah, darling, you have no credibility with me!” Si Yan said with difficulty, for his little treasure had lied too many times. It was hard to believe anything she said. “Then, what do you want?” Su Yu tugged at her clothes nervously. “To fall in love with me!” Si Yan raised a hand, smirking with a roguish charm, his eyes full of determination. “Impossible!” Su Yu blurted without hesitation. She hated him too much to ever love him. It was nothing but a hopeless fantasy.

Si Yan’s face darkened. He knew she wouldn’t agree; the fact it slipped out subconsciously proved how much she truly loathed him. Damn it! How irritating!

“Change it,” Su Yu tried to get down from him. No chance. The man captured her lips fiercely, pressing her against the car door in a brutal kiss. Long after, he finally released her, tracing the swollen, reddened petals of her lips with his fingertip. His voice was full of dissatisfaction. “No changes.” No room for negotiation. She could only pray Han Yan wouldn’t come and that Si Yan’s men wouldn’t catch them.

The car stopped in front of the most luxurious casino in Wang City. Si Yan carried her out, but Su Yu struggled, wanting to get down. Her feet touched the ground as she looked at the opulent, ruthless gambling palace before her.

“Why did you bring me here?” Si Yan took her hand, their fingers intertwining. “To show you the evil in Wang City. After today, you’ll understand what a proud thing it is to be my wife, Su Yan’s wife. You will belong to me forever.” This place was fraught with treachery—darling, I will be your only support!
