Chapter 55: Blow Up the Car
Wuhan University.
A crowd of onlookers had gathered, pointing and chattering.
"Tsk tsk, such a nice Lamborghini, just blown up like that."
"Such a heartbreaker."
"You said it. I heard that's the latest model worth over five million. That counts as intentional destruction of property. With a sum that huge, she's probably heading to a jail cell."
"These female college students nowadays are all so arrogant. Didn't he just try to chat her up? She's out whoring anyway, why put on the act of a pure white lotus?"
"Exactly. When she couldn't hit it off, she actually blew up someone else's car."
"What did she use to blow it up? Dynamite?"
"My god, I thought it was arson. She brought explosives to school? Then she's totally finished."
Hearing the murmurs from the surrounding passersby, Li Moling felt a mix of anger and terror.
What did they mean by "out whoring anyway"?
Did these people have such filthy minds that they assumed all female students in the world were that kind of trash?
Meanwhile, the bespectacled, delicate, and meek-looking young girl standing beside Li Moling even began to sob quietly in fear.
Li Moling tried to comfort her.
"Wenwen, don't worry. Once my brother gets here, everything will be fine."
After coming to school, Li Moling had gotten along quite well with this timid classmate, Wenwen.
Li Moling had just arrived at school and didn't have many friends, while Wenwen was solely focused on her studies and never participated in other social activities. The two of them had very compatible personalities and temperaments, quickly becoming good friends.
At noon, the two of them had planned to go out for lunch.
However, just as they stepped out of the school gates, their path was blocked by a ruffian-looking punk.
He even stepped right up to the two girls and started getting hands-on.
Li Moling threatened him:
"Get lost!"
Yet the man remained completely unbothered.
"Hey now, babe, don't be so cold. Everyone gets what they need, right? Look at you two, aren't you just dying for a man? Don't worry, the price is negotiable. Name your price, I'll take both of you."
Not only that, but right off the bat, he grabbed at Wenwen's clothes, even attempting to reach inside her clothes in broad daylight.
In a fit of fury, Li Moling instantly pulled out an offensive talisman and, without another word, blew up that Lamborghini right on the spot.
A mushroom cloud rose into the air.
Although she had vented her pent-up anger, Li Moling also knew that the car wasn't cheap.
She couldn't help feeling a tinge of regret.
But it was already too late.
Wenwen was also scared out of her wits.
She glanced at Li Moling.
"Moling, that car was too expensive, we can't afford to pay for it!"
Now the other party was making a huge fuss out of this, using the destruction of the car as leverage no matter what.
Li Moling sighed helplessly.
"This... I was just so angry at the time."
Remorse flickered across Li Moling's face, and wronged tears welled up in her eyes.
She hadn't intended to stir up trouble in the first place.
Yet these scumbag aristocrats hovered around them like flies.
Seeing Li Moling looking so wronged, Wenwen loyally stepped up to comfort her.
"You only did that to protect me. Don't panic, we'll figure a way out together!"
Wenwen looked toward a woman standing nearby who was wearing a long black dress, in her thirties, and rather plump in figure.
"Counsellor, what do we do now?"
This woman was none other than their counsellor, Chen Caixia.
A trace of disdain flashed across Chen Caixia's wrinkle-filled face as she rolled her eyes.
"What do we do? What else can we do? If it were just a minor verbal spat, a little coordination would suffice."
"But look at it now! That person's car costs over five million. Either you pay up, or you can wait to sit in a jail cell."
"Li Moling, what on earth is wrong with you? You've only just enrolled, this is barely your second day, and you've already blown up someone's car. What's next, are you going to blow up the school tomorrow?"
"I've already called your brother, he should be here soon. Seriously, what kind of terrible luck did I have to run into someone like you?"
"But..."
Li Moling frowned in a dilemma.
Chen Caixia, however, quickly chimed in:
"Alright, there's no need to say much about a situation like yours; you're definitely getting expelled. As for how the court rules later, that's none of my business. Anyway, this matter has nothing to do with me."
Chen Caixia was in a rush to wash her hands clean of the matter.
Panic gripped Li Moling's heart even tighter; she never expected things to blow up to such a scale.
At that moment.
A young man wearing beach shorts, with dyed yellow hair and ultra-long earrings hanging from his ears, swaggered over. He was none other than the owner of the Lamborghini that Li Moling had blown up.
Despite having his car destroyed, the blond punk didn't seem distressed at all.
Instead, he looked at Li Moling with a grin.
"Little girl, whether you get expelled or not has nothing to do with me. But I bought this car for 5.1 million, and I'd only driven it for three days! I'm not afraid to take this anywhere to seek justice."
"Either pay up for the car, or wait to eat prison food."
"This..."
A look of distress filled Li Moling's pretty face.
Even though the card Li Mosheng had given her yesterday had over a million on it, more than enough for daily expenses,
it was clearly still far from enough to compensate for this car.
At this point, Wenwen stepped forward and said:
"Give us some time, we'll find a way to scrape the money together."
"Scrape it together? Scrape your grandma's!"
Stepping forward, the blond man delivered a vicious slap across Wenwen's face.
Wenwen's glasses flew off, and her delicate face instantly swelled up high.
A trickle of fresh blood seeped from the corner of her mouth.
Wenwen immediately burst into aggrieved tears.
"You... why are you hitting people?"
Yet Wenwen was naturally timid and meek; facing the ferocious-looking blond man, she didn't dare to fight back at all.
Seeing the man resort to physical violence against women, Li Moling flew into a rage.
"You actually hit a woman? Are you even human?"
Furious, Li Moling moved to step forward.
But Chen Caixia blocked her path.
"Counsellor, he's hitting people! Don't stop me."
Far from protecting them, Chen Caixia was playing favorites.
She glared fiercely at Li Moling.
"This was your fault to begin with. You blew up someone's five-million-dollar car—isn't it only natural for them to vent their anger by hitting you a little? How dare you even think of fighting back?"
Li Moling widened her eyes in shock, clearly never expecting her counsellor to utter such words.
The blond man burst into laughter.
"Right? As expected, teachers have much higher morals. These two brainless female students don't have a single cell of sense."
The blond man gloated triumphantly:
"With looks like yours, which of the girls I've slept with isn't prettier than you two? You really think you're golden branches and jade leaves? You wouldn't even fetch a decent price if you went out whoring, yet you dared to blow up my car?"
"You..."
Li Moling glared viciously at the blond man, clutching the talismans in her pocket.
She wished she could fling every single talisman right onto his face.
Chen Caixia scolded:
"What do you think you're doing? This is entirely your fault. Why aren't you kneeling down to beg for his forgiveness instead of giving him attitude?"
Li Moling finally reached her breaking point.
"How can you talk like that as a counsellor?"
Though strong-willed, Li Moling was still just a young girl.
Bullied like this by others, with their counsellor taking the other side and heaping insults upon them,
preying solely on the fact that they were two young girls.
Furious as she was, Li Moling was utterly helpless.
Chen Caixia sneered.
"You commit a grave mistake and still dare to find fault with me? Is there something wrong with what I said?"
"I honestly have no idea how people like you even managed to get into Wuhan University. For all I know, your character is thoroughly rotten and you used some dirty tricks to get in."
The blond man nodded in agreement.
"Right, right, right. With that attitude of theirs, they definitely cheated their way in. You guys better investigate this thoroughly; Wuhan University is a nationally renowned institution, you can't let a bunch of maggots ruin its reputation."
Li Moling and Wenwen trembled all over with anger, tears streaming uncontrollably down their faces.
Just then, a figure strolled over leisurely.
"Oh, it's quite lively here today, isn't it?"
Raising their heads, the crowd saw that the newcomer was none other than An Benyue.
A flattering smile instantly bloomed across Chen Caixia's face as she eagerly sidled up to An Benyue, acting for all the world like a sycophantic lapdog.
"Oh, it's Young Master An. Welcome, please forgive me for not coming out to greet you."
Her voice involuntarily took on a sweet, simpering tone.
She looked ready to wait on An Benyue hand and foot right then and there.
Striking the pose of a wealthy scion, An Benyue nodded and let out a haughty hum of acknowledgment.
"Hmm..."
