Wen Ruoxuan's expression turned unsightly. She glared at Jiang Chen and said to Ye Qingchan, "Miss Ye, this Jiang Chen is by no means any miraculous doctor. He has shown such disrespect to us; we cannot let him off so easily!"

"Wen Ruoxuan, do you simply lack the capacity to understand human speech?"

Jiang Chen continued his mocking laughter, "Miss Ye has already put it very politely—she refuses to be used as your gun. Do you lack even basic self-awareness? Shamelessly asking for trouble!"

With those words, Ye Qingchan turned and left the banquet hall.

She didn't believe Jiang Chen was a miraculous doctor either; she only knew that Jiang Chen couldn't possibly compare to Mr. Jiang, and there was no longer any need to investigate further.
