Murong Yi struggled in agony as the two forces clashed within her. Bound by handcuffs, she could only thrash her limbs fruitlessly. After several minutes, the rotting flesh on her body began to slough off, revealing smooth, fair skin beneath. Her struggles gradually subsided, and she lowered her head, her body trembling slightly as if overwhelmed by the intensity of the pain.

Observing this, Qing Li immediately turned to Qin Yu. "Yu'er, feed her the water and the heart blood!"

Qin Yu promptly produced a small bowl from her storage space, forced a drop of her own heart blood into the supernatural water, and mixed it. She swayed, nearly collapsing, but was steadied by Qing Li behind her.

Qing Li took the bowl from Qin Yu and handed it to Ouyang Jue. "Hurry, feed it to her!"

Ouyang Jue took the bowl and knelt beside Murong Yi. As he prepared to feed her, Murong Yi suddenly lifted her head, staring straight at him. Her skin had fully healed, but her eyes, usually vibrant, were now fixed on him with a chilling gaze filled with suspicion and hostility.

Ouyang Jue froze. He had never seen her look at him with such eyes, and his heart ached with profound pain. In that split second of hesitation, the skin on Murong Yi’s face began to rot once more.

"Feed her!" Qing Li barked, his voice sharp. "Otherwise, all our efforts will be in vain!"

Ouyang Jue quickly pressed the bowl to her lips. Faced with her non-compliance, he hardened his heart and forced her to drink. Ignoring her hateful glare, he ensured she consumed the mixture. Seconds later, her skin returned to its smooth, supple state, though she promptly lost consciousness.

Ouyang Jue panicked. He looked at Qing Li and asked anxiously, "Why has she fainted? Did it fail?"

Qing Li glanced at him coldly. "It succeeded. She is likely exhausted from the immense strain; she just needs to rest."

Ouyang Jue sighed in relief. He unlocked her restraints and scooped her into his arms, completely indifferent to the filth and decay clinging to her clothes from her previous zombified state.

Nangong Yao, unable to stomach the scene, shuddered, shook off his goosebumps, and turned to leave the secret chamber.

Qing Li supported the frail Qin Yu, noting her pale cheeks. He remained silent, but the oppressive aura radiating from him made it clear to Qin Yu that he was furious. Only he knew the source of his anger.

Qing Li swept Qin Yu up into his arms, not sparing another glance for Ouyang Jue, and swiftly exited the chamber, catching up to Nangong Yao. Once he reached him, he unceremoniously demanded a large supply of tonics and blood-replenishing pills, nearly draining Nangong Yao of his entire stock.

Though Nangong Yao wanted to protest, he held his tongue, rationalizing that Qin Yu had acted out of concern for his close friend. In reality, however, he simply knew he was no match for this man. Who knew what this fellow had been fed growing up? His cultivation was so deep that even Nangong Yao couldn't fathom it.

Meanwhile, although Murong Yi was unconscious, her consciousness had drifted to a bizarre realm.

She stood amidst a swirling vortex of gold. She was bewildered; hadn't she shielded Jue from that monster’s attack? Was this a hallucination? To a thousand-year-old zombie ancestor, gold was trivial, yet she carefully navigated the path of gold until she reached a house constructed entirely of the stuff. Again?

She curled her lip in disinterest. Inside, she encountered absurdities: rabbits the size of elephants and leopards the size of mice. She only knew what they were because labels made of gold were fixed to every object. Murong Yi’s mouth twitched. Was she really that vulgar? She closed her eyes, refusing to look.

Instantly, she sensed danger. She dodged, narrowly avoiding an attack. She snapped her eyes open, only to see a blinding, glittering yellow expanse. Frowning, she closed her eyes again to track the source of the strike. She moved toward the origin, fighting back as she went, until she arrived at a dark void.

In the center stood a small, shimmering yellow robot. It looked at her and emitted a strange, mocking laugh.

"So, you are the one who wants to conquer me? You barely pass! I submit to you!" it declared.

Murong Yi was stunned. Conquer? Submit? What nonsense was this? She hadn't said a word!

The little robot bounced up to her. "But you must agree to one condition: you must find our leader, Di Xin!"

Murong Yi was speechless. What was this about a "Leader Di Xin"? She had never even heard the name!

The little robot tilted its head, its neck clicking, as it observed the stunned woman. *Strange,* it thought. *Is the master I've recognized a fool? Will the brothers laugh at me? Can I change masters now?* It seemed that wasn't possible. *Fine, I'll just have to put in the effort to train her later.*

With that, it waved its mechanical arm and transformed into a streak of light, darting into the center of Murong Yi’s brow. She felt a surge of pressure, her vision went black, and she lost consciousness.

Back in the room, Ouyang Jue watched the sleeping Murong Yi. Her complexion was rosy, her clothes clean, and a strange expression flickered across her face as she dreamt. He gazed at her with obsessive, deep-seated affection.

When Murong Yi slowly opened her eyes, that was the sight that greeted her. She froze, about to speak, when her face suddenly went pale. She pointed trembling behind Ouyang Jue, gasping, "You... you... you!"

The little yellow robot, holding a golden carrot and munching on it with great solemnity, tilted its head and looked at her.

Nangong Yao, hearing her cry of alarm, burst into the room and stopped dead in his tracks, completely bewildered.

"What... what is this?"
