The Nine-Tails seemed very unwilling to mention that thing, so it changed the subject, hoping to brush matters aside.

Naruto had intended to press further, but the new topic the Nine-Tails brought up interested him greatly.

That topic was Indra and Asura, the two names the Nine-Tails had blurted out earlier when Jiraiya mentioned the reincarnation eye.

The Nine-Tails knew both Indra and Asura.

These two were the sons of the Sage of Six Paths, Otsutsuki Hagoromo.

So that was the Sage of Six Paths’ name, Naruto thought.

Indra was the Sage of Six Paths’ eldest son, born with the Sage’s eye, meaning tremendous chakra power and spiritual energy.
