When Lin Yimo arrived at the restaurant, she saw that Lin Yang was already seated inside. She immediately composed herself, glanced at her reflection in the mirror, and only then got out of the car and entered the restaurant.

“How long have you been here?”

Lin Yimo sat down and asked.

“I just arrived.”

Lin Yang’s eyes lit up when he saw her, as though he had caught a glimpse of the girl she had once been in their school days.

Lin Yimo was not as breathtakingly beautiful as top beauties like Murong Yun and Qin Monong, but she was unquestionably attractive. Tall and well-proportioned, she possessed a clear, graceful air that perfectly complemented her outfit. It was neither flashy nor dazzling, yet it had a distinctive charm all its own.

He had met Lin Yimo several times before, but she still managed to brighten his eyes whenever he saw her.

“You look very pretty today.”

At Lin Yang’s compliment, joy appeared on Lin Yimo’s cheeks.

A woman dresses for the man who appreciates her. At that moment, Lin Yimo felt that all the effort she had put into her appearance had been worthwhile.

“Thank you.”

After Lin Yimo sat down, Lin Yang let her order. She even made a point of ordering a bottle of champagne.

Raising her glass, Lin Yimo said, “Lin Yang, I truly want to thank you. You saved me, and you saved my family as well. We had already been prepared to hand over the company and the factory to settle our debts.”

“As long as everything worked out in the end.”

Lin Yang clinked glasses with her and nodded slightly.

“We may be fine now, but I’m a little worried about you,” Lin Yimo said.

“What is there to worry about?”

Lin Yang smiled.

“Do you know who stands behind Wei Dagang?”

“The Cheng family’s Black Widow.”

“So you already know. The Cheng family is a Grandmaster clan. You killed one of their dogs; I’m afraid its owner won’t let the matter go.”

Although Lin Yimo did not approve of her family’s attitude toward Lin Yang, she had to admit that her grandfather’s words made sense.

“There’s no need to worry. Since I dared to kill him, I’m not afraid of the Cheng family’s retaliation. But what about you? Did you come here to meet me without telling your family?”

Lin Yang abruptly changed the subject.

Lin Yimo froze. A hint of panic flashed through her eyes, but she quickly concealed it.

“No... of course not. Why would I hide it from my family? You’re our family’s benefactor. All of us are deeply grateful to you.”

Her words carried a trace of guilt.

Lin Yang smiled faintly and did not pursue the matter.

Even Lin Yimo could imagine that the Cheng family would retaliate. How could her parents, worldly as they were, fail to understand that? Otherwise, considering how great a debt of gratitude they owed him, why had they not even shown their faces?

Still, Lin Yang did not care.

When he changed the subject, Lin Yimo felt considerably relieved.

The two of them finished the bottle of champagne. Lin Yimo’s cheeks had turned faintly red, and she seemed slightly tipsy.

Once they left the restaurant, Lin Yang said, “Call a designated driver.”

“I don’t want to go home yet. Will you take a walk with me?”

Lin Yimo pressed her lips together and asked.

Lin Yang nodded. He accompanied her along the riverside park’s greenway. They walked side by side, passing many couples strolling hand in hand.

Lin Yimo bit her lip, then reached out and took Lin Yang’s hand.

The last time he had walked hand in hand with a woman had been more than two years earlier, when he was with his fiancée, Liu Fuyu. But the two of them had long since drifted apart. Now they were bitter enemies, and there was no going back.

Walking hand in hand with the beauty of his class had once been one of Lin Yang’s fantasies. After all, who had never had a crush on the prettiest girl in class during their school years?

A delicate fragrance drifted from Lin Yimo, winding into Lin Yang’s nose. At that moment, the two of them looked no different from any other couple along the path.

Neither spoke. They simply held hands tightly and continued walking.

When they reached a resting area beside the river, Lin Yimo said, “I’d like to sit over there for a while.”

After they sat down, Lin Yimo naturally leaned against Lin Yang’s shoulder. Lin Yang was no fool; he had long since understood her feelings. He slipped an arm around her waist and turned his head to meet her gaze.

Lin Yimo’s red lips parted slightly, alluring beyond words.

Lin Yang swallowed, then slowly leaned toward her. Their lips met.

They shared a long kiss before finally pulling apart.

“Are you going home tonight?” Lin Yang asked.

Biting her red lip, Lin Yimo whispered, “I argued with my parents before I left. I don’t want to go back.”

“Then let’s go to a hotel.”

Lin Yang was not the sort to hesitate. The atmosphere had already reached this point; if he still refused to be direct, he would be worse than an animal.

“Mm.”

Lin Yimo’s voice was faint as a mosquito’s hum.

Lin Yang took her hand and led her across the street into a hotel, where they rented a room.

Having already experienced Qin Monong, an exceptional mature beauty, and Qiu Yuezi, a seductive enchantress born with a bewitching allure, Lin Yang had practically become an expert. He was not nervous in the slightest.

Lin Yimo, on the other hand, was somewhat tense. She remained silent throughout the elevator ride with Lin Yang.

It was not until Lin Yang unlocked the door and entered the room that he pulled her into his arms. Giving her no time to think, he kissed her, then kicked the door shut behind them.

Lin Yimo’s body stiffened at first, but soon softened. Her mind went blank for a moment before gradually being ignited by Lin Yang’s passion. She wrapped her arms around his neck and responded with equal fervor.

The two of them moved from the entrance to the bedside, then slowly sank onto the large bed. Only then did they part their lips and meet each other’s eyes once more. They were so close that they could feel each other’s breath.

“Will you regret this? If you regret it now, there’s still time.”

Lin Yang asked gently.

Lin Yimo’s eyes were filled with deep affection. She shook her head slightly, then took the initiative to kiss him.

Lin Yang traced a finger along the bridge of her shapely nose. His fingertips brushed lightly over her smooth cheek before coming to rest on her red lips, while his other hand began exploring the places it longed to discover.

Lin Yimo’s figure was entirely different from Qin Monong’s. She was not as full and voluptuous, but she possessed a charm uniquely her own.

The most perfect part of Lin Yimo was her waist: soft and slender, without the slightest trace of excess flesh. Because her waist was so fine, it accentuated the beautiful curves of her body and made her modestly sized breasts appear especially prominent.

Lin Yang even suspected that if he used too much force, he might break her delicate, willow-like waist.

“Lin Yang, I want you!”

Unable to hold herself back any longer, Lin Yimo finally cried out the words. They were also the best answer to Lin Yang’s question.
